What is non-compliant cladding?
Non-compliant cladding includes materials that do not meet fire or building safety standards. Common examples are Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) with polyethylene cores and Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) façades.
Why is non-compliant cladding a problem?
It can lead to a fire hazard where flames spread quickly. It also carries insurance risks (policies may be void) and potential legal and council fines for non-compliance.
How does Deluke Group handle non-compliant cladding?
We provide Façade Cladding & Reclads, which involves the removal of non-compliant/combustible cladding and the installation of new compliant systems (solid aluminium, Rockwool, etc.) in line with NCC and Australian Standards. We also remove faulty, combustible cladding and install safe, NCC 2022 compliant systems.
